Description
Roxanne will share her journey from being a "textbook snob" to fully embracing open educational resource (OER) use, including transitioning the entire Communication department at Hawkeye solely into using OER. This talk will cover her personal evolution, general benefits of OER, the process of implementation, thinking about OER use in different ways, and challenges and successes along the way. There will be time built in at the end for the audience to ask questions.
