Rod Library

Interim Dean: Katherine Martin

Rod Library is committed to enriching student learning and promoting scholarship. Librarians work closely with campus faculty to ensure UNI students graduate with the skills to find, use, and evaluate information, and are informed critical thinkers and lifelong learners. When it comes to scholarship, we are actively working to preserve and provide access to faculty and student work, as well as other documents produced at UNI, through our new digital publishing initiatives. In making this work accessible, we share and celebrate campus scholarship with the state of Iowa and the world.

Browse the Rod Library Millionth Volume collection, which celebrates the acquisition of the millionth volume, the 40th Anniversary of the completion of the first phase of construction of the Rod Library, and to honor Donald O. Rod, the library's namesake and director from 1953-1986, who passed away in 2003.
