Abstract

The history of half-day and full-day kindergarten schedules was reviewed. Theoretical support for the two most common schedules was investigated, as was research of their effects on student development. The present study examined educators' attitudes toward full-day kindergarten schedules. The results indicated that educator attitudes were positive toward the full-day kindergarten program; some modifications were suggested.
