Abstract
Each day, every staffed Department of Veterans Affairs national cemetery flies two flags--the United States of America flag and the Prisoners or War/Missing in Action flag. The POW/MIA flag, now a well-recognized national symbol, was developed to remind every American of the U.S. service members whose fates were never accounted for during war.
