Abstract
It is the purpose of this study to determine prevailing orientation practices in the junior high schools throughout the state of Iowa. More specifically: (1) to determine through studying the collected data, the areas now being covered in the orientation programs, (2) to report the information being presented to the seventh grad student in the form of written orientation material, and (3) to propose a student orientation program based on the findings of the previous research.
