Abstract
It has been more than twenty years since G. W. Allport said, "The concept of attitude is possibly the most distinctive and indispensable concept in contemporary American l social psychology." Yet even though two decades have passed his words are still as vital and meaningful as when they were first uttered. The importance of attitudes, of value systems, needs no documentation or proof. We all teel the effects of the attitudes of others, we all affect others by our attitudes, every day of our lives.
