Abstract
The purpose of this study was twofold: {l) to present an over-all view of Primary Education in the Philippines and develop the background for an understanding of current educational problems and social situations which the writer assumes can partly be solved by setting up nursery schools; (2) to formulate a tentative curriculum plan as a guide for future teachers desiring to organize private nursery schools of their own.
