Abstract

  • The Fulton 7.5' Quadrangle lies within a geographic region known as the East-Central Iowa Drift Plain.
  • The East-Central Iowa Drift Plain is characterized by glacial deposits that occurred over 1.8 million years ago. These glacial deposits partially make up the loose surface material, along with alluvial deposits.
  • This study aims to characterize the samples taken in the field during the previous study in 2023 and study archeological findings in the area
