Description
Alt text: A vintage cartoon postcard in bad physical shape, titled "The Weaker Sex" at the top, shows a woman in a purple and green dress towering standing on a cylindrical pedestal in an expanse of water, holding a fishing line. A diminutive man in a black suit is shown hooked on the fishing line. He drips water as he dangles above the water's surface. A caption to the right reads: "Even when you've proposed and been accepted, you often feel more or less like this." The lower left portion of the card has been torn away. The remaining text at the bottom border reads, "Wellman. Number 3000." An elaborate artist's signature is near the illustration to the lower right. A band below the postcard has the text "Palczewski Suffrage Postcard Archive."
