Mexican Pre-Hispanic Sites Image Gallery
Dr. Carl Thurman, professor of Biology at the University of Northern Iowa, traveled as a student in the 1970's and 1980's to Mexico and visited a number of Pre-Hispanic sites, including several Mayan ruins. All photographs were taken by Carl Thurman who has designated a Creative Commons 4.0 attribution license to each photo. This license lets others distribute, remix, tweak, and build upon the original work as long as they credit Carl Thurman for the original creation. The photographs in the image gallery are sorted by alphabetically by archaeological site.
