Abstract
The purpose of this study is to conduct a comprehensive literature review based upon Generation Y as our future donors and employees. This review is conducted so that we might begin to learn and understand how more than 76 million individuals will impact the future of charitable giving as we know it today. Serving as a small piece that will provide a large role in the eventual understanding of our Generation Y donors and employees, this review will demonstrate how Generation Y subjects become attached to and serve charitable causes, the types of assets they'll likely possess later in life, and the leadership traits necessary for development professionals to possess when attracting and retaining our next generation of donors and employees.
