Abstract

The past decade has seen the school library transformed from a center of print materials to a center for instructional materials of all types and varieties. The service offered by the library has undergone a concomitant change. However, one can still not describe a library or instructional materials center with any certainty that the description will be the same tomorrow. For as with education today--the only lasting characteristic seems to be change.
