Abstract
Having taught mechanical drawing in high school, grades nine through twelve for nearly six years this writer has stressed the importance of lettering to students many times. However, freehand lettering is a very short unit, with limited experience using a Leroy Lettering Guide. The desire to discover other means of lettering drawings prompted the selection of this topic.
