Abstract
Most graphic arts textbooks contain very little information about industrial screen printing and how it is accomplished on cylindrical, conical and other non-flat surfaces. It is the specific purpose of this research report to explore the area of cylindrical screen printing with emphasis on the following objectives:
1. To become familiar with the history and development of screen process printing.
2. To become familiar with the materials, methods, equipment and technical knowledge used in industry to accomplish this process.
3. To gain some insight concerning the career opportunities and financial trends of the screen process printing industries.
4. To develop and organize an instructional unit on cylindrical screen printing which can be utilized in a graphic arts program.
