Abstract

Suicide is the second leading cause of death on American college and university campuses (Bernard & Bernard, 1985; Hoffer, 1972). This fact emphasizes the need to prevent suicide on campus. To accomplish this, it is essential to possess an understanding of suicide indicators and the needs which underlie them.
