Abstract

Cloud computing is growing very fast, almost all industries are using this technology. Since cloud users are growing, it is vital to ensure that every user is experiencing the best performance of cloud services. The cloud load balancer is for balancing the user load in cloud computing. The purpose of this paper is to find a suitable load balancer according to the user requirements and provide a guide for designing new algorithms by comparing the performance of existing load-balancing algorithms. This paper will review a few existing algorithms, provide their details with a graphical presentation, and compare them by a using performance parameter matrix, including stability, overload rejection, fault tolerance, throughput, and overhead.
