Abstract
Those individuals in any way connected with education understand the pressures being p I aced upon them by outside forces to improve the product they offer. Perhaps no one individual understands the push for improvement more than the building principal. If a principal ls to improve the education offered in his building he must eventually look to his teachers as the ultimate key to that improvement (Boyer, 1986). As Fleming stated in 1986, if education is to be improved the teachers themselves must be improved good schools come from good teaching.
