Abstract
This paper presents a study on the sustainability aspects of 3D printing. Different aspects like the needs that development of 3D printing technology, world-wide acceptance of the technology and the influence of 3D printing on the environment are presented in this paper. As an MS-Technology student, it is important for me to understand a widely used technique like 3D printing and critically examine different aspects of it. This study helped me to consolidate the sustainability concepts that I have studied as a part of the coursework.
