Abstract
In the complicated, subjective field of leadership, school administration ranks as one of the least well understood areas on the scale. Business, with their billions have been able to spend the money and the time examining leadership in the business environment and have established considerable data which, because of the lack of money and time in education, must be translated to our field before analysis. This translation occasionally diminishes the value of the results obtained from the research. For this reason, it is of major importance that educators adjust and apply some of the ideas developed in business to educational leadership situations. This is being done now, and even if the results are not more positive they will at least have removed a major question of validity from earlier work. This project was a step in this direction.
