Abstract
This study is concerned with the expressed interests of sixth grade pupils and with the relationship of experience to those interests. The study has three major objectives. The first objective is to determine the extent and variability of the likes and dislikes of selected sixth grade pupils in the eight different areas of the What I Like to Do inventory. The second objective is to determine the degree to which these stated likes and dislikes and based upon prior experience. The Third objective is to identify those items on the inventory that boys and girls would like to have a greater opportunity to do.
