Abstract
This study was conducted primarily to determine the variation in the amount of food ingested by the common perch according to the time of day; secondarily, to determine any variation in the types of organisms ingested as food . In the teaching of the biological sciences, the teacher strives to enlighten and stimulate the students toward a better understanding of the living world.
