Abstract
It is the purpose of this study to (1) determine if educational attitudes of junior high students can be changed through the use of a group decision method and a lecture method by utilizing controversial questions in the area of American history, and (2) compare the effectiveness of a group-decision method and a lecture method in causing a shift in attitude as measured by an opinionnaire scale.
