Abstract
Farmers' cooperatives were an important marketing organization in the agricultural industry. This study pertained to evaluating the efficiency of farmers' cooperatives in Iowa. More specifically, the problem investigated the relationship between size and net savings, the value of four ratios in determining profitability, and the sectors which showed the most variation between the most and least profitable firms.
