Abstract

Each year more and more of our high school graduates continue their education at institutions of higher learning. In 1920 only 597,880 students were enrolled in college. By 1960, however, 3,221,0001 of our secondary school graduates are expected to find their way to one of America's 1,100 degree granting campuses. 2 The ever-increasing number of students going to college makes it evident that colleges will soon be bulging at the seams. This increase in college enrollment makes some sort of college information program appear more important than ever before.
