School of Applied Human Sciences

Director: William Henninger .

The School of Applied Human Sciences is a multidisciplinary, pre-professional school preparing students for careers in helping people build better lives. Internships during their final year give most of our students work experience in their chosen career and a head start on their first job offer. Students can major in Interior Design, Textile and Apparel, Gerontology, or Family Services; complete a minor in Family Studies, Textile and Apparel, or Gerontology; or seek a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or School Counseling.
