Abstract
What is a resource inventory?
- Tool that can be used to identify the composition subject being studied quickly.
- Resources in the cave are speleothems.
- Resources can be used to determine the formation of the cave.
- Resources can be used to determine the history of the cave by matching the formations.
Why fluorescence inventory?
- The composition of the speleothems can be determined from the unique fingerprint.
- Similarities and differences between the features within the cave and across other caves can be determined by comparing the UV spectra.
- Features can be found that are obscured by dust because the fluorescence shows through (the flowstone bands in cave walls).
