Abstract
tef [Eragrostis tef (zucc.) trotter] is a grain crop from Ethiopia. Tef has received much attention in recent years due to its nutritional value. Tef is a resilient crop, making it suitable for cultivation in diverse environments. As interest in tef grows due to its nutritional benefits and pliability, selection of strains that can be successfully cultivated in environments outside of its traditional growing areas is becoming apparent. The overall objective of this research is to select tef strains that are adapted to Iowa growing conditions
