The handwritten message reads, "Wednesday afternoon, Dear Joan, Just arrived here motoring with Uncle Percy. Thought you would like a card. Love and kisses, Auntie Kathleen." Publisher's text on the left border reads, "The sorrows of Southwold series. Drawn and published by Reg. Carter N.B.A., Southwold, with apologies to all. Printed by the Southwold Press, Southwold." A band below the postcard has the text "Palczewski Suffrage Postcard Archive."
