p>Alt text: The back of a vintage postcard. The text "post card" is printed in the center top. Two half-cent U.S. postage stamps are in the top right corner, along with a postmark showing Lewisburg, Pennslyvania, July 16, 1943. A double line divides the left side, labeled "This side for correspondence," from the right side, which is labeled "This side for address." Typed text on the left side is dated July 16, 1943 and reads, "Dear Scotty, It's 2:00 a.m. and I'm just getting in from a game of pinochle, ended up 10 cents to the good!. And now to bed so as to be ready for the daily grind." It is signed in red ink, "Andy," and the address "Box 35, Lewisburg, Pennsylvania" is below. The right side shows, "PFC A. T. Martinaitis, 33421498, Company E, 3202 S C S U - A S T U, N. Y. U., Washington Square, New York 3, N. Y." A band below the postcard has the text "Palczewski Suffrage Postcard Archive."
