Description
Alt text: Color illustration on a vintage postcard shows a small boy in a bowler hat and oversized blue bow tie about to be embraced by a girl in a red and yellow striped dress and a bright scarf tied around her hat. The boy seems startled by the embrace. The text "votes for women" is printed in blue at the top. The letters "w" and "o" in the text are struck through by two horizontal lines. The text below the illustration reads: "We've troubles of our own, leave well enough alone." The artist's last name is signed near the illustration and reads, "Wall." At the lower left is a publisher's copyright mark: S. Bergman, N.Y., 1912. Nearby is a number in small print, 6385. A band below the postcard has the text "Palczewski Suffrage Postcard Archive."
