Abstract
The purpose of this research project is to explain how and why occupational therapists should be utilized more in the rehabilitation of patients with cancer. This project aims to bring light to how occupational therapy would benefit these patients, the reasons and barriers that prevent them from receiving therapy, and how these barriers can be overcome. This is important because it is evident many patients with cancer suffer physical, psychological, and emotional deficits during and after treatment that could be improved through occupational therapy
