Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the attitudes and opinions of college football athletic trainers regarding injuries occurring on natural and artificial playing surfaces. Telephone interviews with the seven Gateway Conference head athletic trainers were used to collect opinions regarding various injuries occurring on the two types of playing surfaces.
