Abstract

The purposes of this research study were to describe (1) how frequently and thoroughly women in a selected population practiced BSE, (2) how those women learned about BSE and the perceived effect this educational method had on the frequency and thoroughness of BSE practice, and (3) what other factors influenced the frequency and thoroughness of their BSE behaviors.
