Abstract
Gender and sexually diverse adolescents (GSD) experience extreme risk to their safety and well-being in all parts of their lives, including in their educational experience (The Trevor Project, 2023). With the risks GSD adolescents experience, it is important to understand the negatives and positives they report. Positive experiences included their self-defined identities, peer connections, and the GSD community and negative experiences surrounded their families, schools, religious institutions, and residential communities (Higa et al., 2014).
