Abstract
There are no Iowa history books for elementary students with a primary focus on the history and the significance of the Iowa State Fair. The purpose of this research is to provide an age-appropriate informational book to be used by teachers when teaching Iowa history to their elementary students. The book will include history of the Iowa State Fair, highlights of Iowa history and a few historical happenings of national and international note.
