Abstract
As the title suggests, teachers need to be utilizing audiovisual media in an integral fashion and librarians can help them do so. It is now possible to enlarge the educational scope and to enrich learning by not relying solely on verbal communication. It has been suggested that the "applications of technology range from the continued utilization of the book and the blackboard to complete control of the learning programme of large numbers of students by centrally-located computers. The breadth of our educational program is limited only by our wisdom and our willingness to work. Above all, the librarian and teacher should depend upon each other in their planning. Such reciprocity in ability can develop cohesiveness within the school and a higher quality of education.
