Abstract

Over the last 30 years, many viewpoints have been expressed about how to improve the success rate of children from low socioeconomic status (SES). Children from low SES tend to have low IQ and achievement scores. They are also often neglected at home by their parents. Frequently their parents do not spend quality time reading and talking with them.
