Abstract
Propaganda, the transmission of ideas and/or values from one person or group to another, played an important role in Adolph Hitler's schemes for the Third Reich (Taylor, 1979). One of the most effective media for propaganda was the German cinema. This popular form of entertainment and mass communication enabled the Nazis to indoctrinate the Germans with National Socialist ideals and form a separate reality for the German people.
