Abstract
Today's general public is scrutinizing its governmental bodies and asking why they are being run in the fashion they are. Attacks against the system seem to come from every direction. Part of the criticism may be generalized hostility towards the government body closest to home, the public school. New school systems incorporating back to basics, humanism, Bible-based curriculums, and home teaching address some of the problems the public perceive.
