This study was designed to determine what the writing process, if implimented (sic) properly could do to cultivate written expression of children. Specifically, the study hoped to answer the following questions. 1. What method is most productive in teaching young children to write? 2. How is it implemented in the classroom? 3. How does research provide guidance for the classroom teacher? This will be the basis of the research done on the process of writing. The literature will be synthesized to draw conclusions that will provide guidance to the classroom teacher.
