Abstract
Panic disorder is widely recognized as a significant mental health concern that often surfaces during the traditional college years. This article reviews the diagnosis, consequences, and the psychological and pharmacological treatments of panic disorder and makes suggestions for college counselors and other student personnel professionals. © 1998 by The Haworth Press, Inc.
