Abstract

This recital was prepared and presented in partial fulfillment of the Master of Music in Flute Performance degree requirements. The pieces presented represent a variety of musical styles, historical periods, and instrumental combinations. The purpose of this abstract is to provide a brief overview of the works performed and to offer insights into the historical context of each piece. Knowledge gained in writing this document was valuable to the performer in preparing the recital.
