Abstract
In our human experience, love seems to be the emotion to which we all relate in some way, making it a universally understood subject well-suited for artistic interpretation. Though it may seem redundant to continue exploring a feeling that has captivated writers, artists, and painters for centuries, the many faces of love never cease to bring wonderment, despair, or bliss to each human being who experiences them afresh. In this recital, myriad aspects of love are presented as interpreted by numerous composers, each one expressing a unique experience.
