Abstract
Inspirations Diabolique ( 1965), a multiple percussion solo m five movements by Rick Tagawa, was chosen for the opening piece in the recital. This piece is composed for four suspended cymbals, bongo drums, tambourine, two snare drums, field drum, and bass drum. Sticks, wire brushes, triangle beaters, and four soft mallets are indicated and provide the opportunity for a variety of sounds.
