Abstract
The primary objective of this project was to increase the writer's effectiveness as a teacher of instrumental and vocal music through a better understanding of the creative process. This composition was not conceived with a specific performing organization in mind, nor does it pretend to explore any contemporary idioms. A conventional harmonic and melodic structure is used throughout the work.
