Abstract

The field of practical nursing has grown considerably in the past ten years. To meet the challenge of growth, schools of practical nursing must be constantly aware of the changing needs of the many institutions their graduates may serve. In order to insure that graduates maintain their effectiveness as an established member of the nursing team, the schools must engage in continuous research to keep their curriculums meaningful and updated.
