Abstract
One of the failings of American education today is its inability to meet the needs of the average student in high school. Because of this failing, many young people, mostly boys, will drop out of high school sometime between beginning the tenth grade and finishing the twelfth grade. Because American education does not meet the needs of the average student, many youths, job hunting immediately following graduation from high school, will face a more difficult time in locating some type of employment than their elders did during the early 1930's.
