Abstract
A physical science test has been administered to each member of the freshman class upon entrance to Iowa State Teachers College since the fall of 1952. The individual score on this placement test determines whether that student will enroll in 82:20 The Physical Sciences, whether he will enroll in a science course chosen by the student, or whether he may be excused from all required physical science courses in the general education program.
