Abstract

The primary purpose of this study was to determine, through the experiences and present status of the graduates and drop-outs who enrolled for industrial arts at the Belle Plaine High School, how effectively the industrial arts program had met their vocational as well as their general needs after leaving high school.

Further purposes of the study were 1) to evaluate the present industrial arts program in the school; and (2) to recommend changes which might enable the industrial arts department to meet the needs of youth more effectively.
