Abstract

The following abstract is for Jack Frank’s conducting recital for completion of the Master’s in Music in Conducting degree. The recital consisted of five pieces performed by the UNI Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band over the course of the 2020-2021 academic year. The pieces are as follows; Acrostic Song by David Del Tredici arranged by Dr. Mark Spede, Chorale and Alleluia by Howard Hanson, Zephyrus by James David, Overture for Winds Op. 28 by Felix Mendelssohn arranged by Dr. John Boyd, and A Short Piece for Band (Orchestra) by Julia Perry arranged by Jack Frank.
